Sad news just in
The emergency services were deployed to reports of a 'sudden death' on Leamington Road yesterday . Lancashire Constabulary said they were called at 11.38am on Wednesday and a man in his 50s was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives say the man's death is currently being treated as 'unexplained'. Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made.A force spokesperson said: "We were called to Leamington Road, Blackburn, at 11.38am yesterday to reports of a sudden death. Emergency services have attended and sadly found a man in his 50s deceased.
"Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this distressing time. The man’s death is currently being treated as unexplained."
