On Saturday , Hoppus tweeted that he was en route to a mall when his security team informed him that there was an active shooter near their destination. They returned to their hotel, where news of another shooting in the area broke: "over the intercom system they just announced that there are reports of another active shooter directly across the street at a location different from the first shootings.
