While discussing what fans can ask to get her exact shade of golden yellow , the actor reveals there is one color she loves just as much—if not more than—as her signature blonde. “I’m a secret wannabe redhead,” Lively confesses.days, hair care, colored or not, is top of mind.
She’s also not one for a strict regimen per se, and explains that her routine can change depending on weather, how it’s going to be styled, the environment she’s in, etc. What’s more important to her is how her hair feels. “I really listen to my hair,” she says. “I don’t follow a routine as strictly as I follow the lead of how my hair responds.”
O’Connor has been Lively’s only colorist in the last 18 years and when she has gone the copper route, she says no one does red like O’Connor. “She plans for how it fades,” Lively says. “So the in-between color of strawberry blonde as the red comes out is just as beautiful and yet totally different than the initial red.”
Looking ahead, 2025 is going to be a big year for her brand, with some new products in the works that she is finalizing. She can’t share exact details just yet, but she promises that it’ll be worth the wait. “We don’t ever want to create something just to create it,” she says. “We want to bring people something unique, something they can get anywhere else for the quality, price, cleanliness, sustainability, performance, and care.
