Just a day after announcing an initial run of Renaissance World Tour dates, Beyoncé has added second shows in several cities due to"incredible fan demand." Including Houston.The new date is Sept. 24 at NRG Stadium. Fans can register until 11 a.m. Friday in Ticketmaster's Verified Fan program for a chance to get tickets. Cities are separated into three groups: A, B and C. Houston is up first in the A group.
According to a Live Nation statement,"fan demand already exceeds the number of available tickets by more than 800-percent based on current registration numbers in the Group A cities." Seven new dates have been added but"it is still expected that the majority of interested fans will not be able to get tickets because demand drastically exceeds supply."
Houston is the next-to-last stop before the tour wraps in New Orleans. Dallas is the only other Texas city on the schedule.Beyoncé's last trek was the Formation World Tour and included two local dates at NRG Stadium.
