The Bexar County sheriff is searching for an accused bank card thief who goes by 'Mr. Alvarez' after he splurged on a 75-inch TV at Walmart near San Antonio.
Someone might soon regret his tattoo. Meet 'Mr. Alvarez ,' a man who is accused of stealing a debit card from someone's mailbox on Wednesday. The Bexar County Sheriff 's Office put out a witty Facebook post to ask for the public's assistance in locating the man who was caught on a surveillance camera. 'We are looking for 'Mr. Alvarez .'
Investigators would like to have a chat with him about a debit card he is using that doesn't match the name on his tattoo,' the sheriff's office wrote. Money was withdrawn at the bank and at the Walmart a 75” TV with other items were purchased. He drove to a Security Service Federal Credit Union bank in the 5700 block of Northwest Loop 410 — which apparently has high quality security cameras — and withdrew cash from the ATM.
New video: Sheriff's office releases footage of deputy striking pedestrian during high-speed chase Alvarez, whose arm is heavily tattooed, was sporting a bright orange watch. He was driving a dark-colored Jeep Gladiator. Maybe he was having a hard time grabbing the cash. Or perhaps he was questioning his life choices, because there was no smile, only a grimace. Alvarez definitely got the cash. Because next, he drove to a Walmart in the 8900 block of West Military Drive.
Investigators are asking that 'if you recognize Mr. Alvarez , to call them at 210-335-6000 or email [email protected].
