Suits LA has an obvious replacement for Harvey Specter, and he seems to be the perfect lead character for the upcoming Suits spinoff. Born out of Suits’ astonishing success on streaming, NBC’s Suits LA will return to the world of the fan-favorite legal drama, this time with a completely different setting and all-new characters. Suits LA will take place on an entertainment law firm in Los Angeles, Black Lane Law, and will see Stephen Amell as prosecutor-turned-high-profile lawyer Ted Black.

That said, the spinoff series cannot be just “Suits but set in Los Angeles.” Suits was a very unique legal drama in the sense that it made the characters far more interesting than the weekly cases, allowing viewers to connect with that world more easily.
