While downtown Berea already is walkable and bikeable, there is room for improvement to the infrastructure to encourage more -- and safer -- non-motorized modes of travel.
That was the message conveyed during the first of three community meetings held in the library Oct. 25 to discuss the city’s Downtown Berea Multimodal Transportation Improvements Study.

Pedestrian and bicycle travel gaps exist, however, at Front Street crossings between Bagley Road and Grand Street, and on Front Street south of Center Street.
