Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have quietly been living separately after she returned to Los Angeles from being on the east coast for work, sources tell PEOPLE, as speculation continues about the state of their marriage.

Club and Backstage.on Thursday, May 16 for the first time since March 30, but a source close to Lopez, 54, tells PEOPLE that Affleck, 51, has not been staying at the couple's Los Angeles home.
, Affleck and Lopez spoke about their rekindled relationship. He said in the film, “Getting back together, I said, ‘Listen, one of the things I don’t want is a relationship on social media. Then I sort of realized it’s not a fair thing to ask. It’s sort of like, you’re gonna marry a boat captain and you go, ‘Well, I don’t like the water.’ ”
