has announced it has received a $4 million grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, an agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The WellSpan Philhaven Specialized Treatment and Recovery Team is a behavioral health clinic that offers care for patients with urgent mental health and addiction needs. “Since opening its doors in 2021, the program has helped more than 1,500 people, often offering same day appointments for care to patients that otherwise may end up in the emergency department,” WellSpan said in a news release.Penn State Health and UPMC’s new locations, other medical-related projects planned for central Pa.
