woman on January 13, saying she had known since birth that she was a girl. While Nikkie sharing her truth should call for celebration, she said she felt forced to come out because she was being blackmailed.
"Today I am here to share something with you that I've always wanted to share with you one day, but under my own circumstances. It looks like that chance has been taken away from me, so today I am taking back my own power," she said. "When I was younger, I was born in the wrong body, which means I am transgender."
While she shared new information with the world, Nikkie stressed that her coming out as transgender doesn't change anything. The vlogger said she's still the same girl everyone loves to watch on YouTube. "There's one thing I really, really want to make so clear to all of you: I am me. I am still Nikkie. Nothing changes about that," she said. "The last thing I want in my life is for you not to trust me anymore or look at me through different eyes.""We live in a world where other people hate on people that are truly themselves. I have been blackmailed by people that wanted to leak my story to the press. At first it was frightening....
