Dallas is the 22nd wealthiest city in the world, and its number of millionaires has grown 75% from 2013 to 2023, according to a new report from Henley & Partners.
The Dallas-based nonprofit healthcare system is trying to help those affected find new jobs.4:03 PM CDT May 13, 2024published in the Dallas Business Journal hereBaylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation - Home Health is closing in Flower Mound, resulting in about 80 potential layoffs.
The 78 impacted employees include licensed vocational nurses, physical therapists and a clinical manager. "We are committed to supporting those impacted by this transition, including identifying potential employment opportunities within Select Medical, Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation and AccentCare, Baylor Scott & White Health’s current in-home care joint venture partner," Shelly Eckenroth, chief communications officer at Select Medical, wrote in an email to Dallas Business Journal.
Eckenroth said no other Select Medical and Baylor Scott & White Health joint venture facilities are closing.
