There is an exploit to have a custom team.
Quick Links It is possible to build a custom four-person party in Baldur’s Gate 3. This allows access to classes and backgrounds beyond what the main companions start as. In a sense, it offers more dialogue options and some unique interaction outcomes.
Making a second main character is as simple as starting Baldur’s Gate 3 in two-player split-screen mode. This requires two controllers, even if playing the PC version. The additional “players” can join a session as guests instead of using unique Steam IDs or PlayStation Network profiles. Upon start-up, a second copy of the main character, Tav, can be created. Take note that this custom character cannot be saved for future editing and must be finalized now.
For PlayStation 5, one will need to have a second console and use Share Play. Once all four members have joined the lobby, all custom characters can be created.
