FILE - AJ McLean, from left, Kevin Richardson, Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, and Howie Dorough of The Backstreet Boys appear at the 61st annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Feb. 10, 2019. It’s definitely an “I want you back” vibe AJ McLean is throwing out there, and he is hoping his estranged wife will catch it.“We’re co-parenting our kids the best we can, and everyone’s really having a good time,” he said at the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas on Friday, Sept. 20.
The singer was then directly asked if he’d like to get back together with his estranged wife, to which he replied with a definitive, “Oh yeah.” The former couple, who married in Los Angeles back in December 2011, share two children: Elliott, 11, and Lyric, 7. “Our focus now is moving forward in the healthiest way possible with friendship and co-parenting our girls at the forefront of this next chapter. We appreciate your kindness, respect, and privacy at this time,” it concluded.
