One complaint I frequently hear about wireless earbuds is that they don’t have enough bass. Some people just love the thump of a bass string and want the earth to move when listening to their favorite tunes.
Audio-Technical says that these new earbuds are the culmination of a 15-year quest for super-deep bass. To plumb the depths of mega-bass, the company has added acoustic ducts and proprietary 9mm drivers that control airflow. And if bass is about anything, it’s all about shifting larger amounts of air to get that big bass sound.
Audio-Technica’s Connect app provides access to an ultra-low-frequency equalizer which extends the bass even further for body-moving beats. Four additional equalizer presets are also available so that users can enhance everything from vocal clarity to dynamic gaming. The presets are Bass Boost – Beat, Dynamic, Vocal and Clear. The presets can be set as a favorite in the app and automatically applied to the earbuds with every listen.
A full charge of the earbud batteries provides up to 6.5 hours of playtime with noise-canceling turned on. With the reserve charge held in the earbud storage case, there is a total of 17.5 hours of listening time. If you want even longer battery life, turn the noise-cancelling off and you will get up to 7.5 hours of playtime from the earbuds or 20 hours with the charging case.
