Veteran Auburn safety Jeremiah Wooden has transferred to Arkansas, marking the fourth departure of a former Auburn player to another SEC school this cycle.

Veteran defensive back, Jeremiah Wooden, officially transferred to Arkansas on Tuesday. This marks the fourth former Auburn player to join another SEC school this cycle, following Micah Riley (Texas A&M), Antonio Kite (Ole Miss), and Darron Reed Jr. (Mississippi State). Wooden enters his fourth year of college football in 2025 after a 2024 season where he recorded 17 tackles and one interception.

While initially starting at safety, his role decreased due to the emergence of freshman Kaleb Harris. In two previous matchups against Arkansas, Wooden has accumulated three tackles and one fumble recovery. The Tigers and Razorbacks are scheduled to clash on October 25th, 2025, in Fayetteville. Despite losing Wooden and starting safety Jerrin Thompson, Auburn's safety unit remains strong with the return of Harris and Sylvester Smith. The team also welcomed Georgia Tech transfer Taye Seymore at safety, along with incoming freshmen Anquon Fegans and Eric Winters
