Auburn Tigers football bolsters their secondary by securing the commitment of Raion Strader, a standout cornerback from Miami (OH). Strader, a two-time All-MAC selection and freshman All-American, brings impressive defensive skills and a strong track record to Auburn's already formidable secondary.
Auburn’s latest transfer portal move was a big one in the secondary, signing former Miami corner Raion Strader .Strader comes to Auburn after spending two seasons with the Redhawks, becoming one of the best defensive backs in the Mid-American Conference. He earned first team All-MAC honors in 2024 after being named a freshman All-American in 2023.
During his two seasons in Oxford, Strader made 110 tackles, 29 pass deflections and three interceptions. He also finished 2024 with a 74.4 coverage grade, according to Pro Football Focus. At Auburn, he’ll join an already productive secondary that returns starting corners Kayin Lee and Jay Crawford.
