At least five people were shot along one of New York City’s most attended parade routes, authorities said.
The shots were fired Monday afternoon on the 300 block of Eastern Parkway along the popular West Indian Day Festival parade route, police said. One victim was shot in the head, while another was shot in the shoulder. Yet another was shot in the wrist.
