Aug. 11, 2024 - Scene in 2300 block of Arthur Woods Drive in Bel Air, where a gas explosion leveled a house Sunday morning, killing one person. Emergency responders are searching for victims of an apparent house explosion in Bel Air early Sunday morning that left at least one person dead.
Debris covered the road and yards of neighboring homes. The Harford County Department of Emergency Services confirmed on the social media platform X that one victim was located and pronounced dead at the scene. Numerous volunteer firefighters and Harford County Department of Emergency Service Special Operation personnel are currently on scene searching for victims through the use of drones and aircraft, according to the department Sunday morning.
