Annual 'Nun Run' featuring Houston's own Astros 'Rally Nuns' raises money for Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston

Sister Bernadette Nguyen has participated in the event since the first Steps for Students in 2005, when she was teaching at an inner-city Catholic school. “It was a great event where our students, faculty and staff benefited from the generosity of so many people in the city of Houston while also having the opportunity to be together as a Catholic school family,” said Sister Bernadette."It was a much needed fundraiser for our school."Runners place their hands over their hearts for the national anthem during the Steps for Students 5K Run/Walk in Houston, Texas on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023.
