We are seeking a highly motivated Associate or Senior Editor to join our team as Reviews Editor, responsible for commissioning and editing reviews, perspectives, News & Views and research highlights, both in print and online media

Nature Research is a flagship portfolio of journals, products and services including Nature and the Nature-branded journals, dedicated to serving the scientific community.team as our Reviews Editor. Your mission will be to build upon the success of the journal’s front-half section, commissioning, editing and developing content that analyzes and provides our readers with updates on the most timely and significant problems in biotechnology and bioengineering.

This editor would be responsible for commissioning and editing reviews, perspectives, News & Views, and research highlights, both in print and online media. The Reviews editor is also responsible for managing the development of special issues highlighting new trends in research. You will be interacting with key scientists and opinion-makers on a daily basis to identify impactful content of relevance to the journal’s readershipTo be considered for the position, you will have:Breadth of research interest, awareness of emerging trends in bioengineering and biotech and an eagerness to learn about new areas and developmentsA vision for how to improve the geographical and demographic reach of journal content and an appreciation of DEI issuesA good handle of social media...

Candidates for a senior position must demonstrate prior experience in editing Reviews content for scientific publications.The successful candidate will report to the Chief Editor and play an important role in setting the journal’s agenda and editorial voice.is a full-time position, based in our New York or Berlin offices with flexibility for partly working from home. Internal applicants may be located at any of our current offices.
