'My colleague smells awful but I don’t want to upset her' | Ask Janice ✍️
Dear Janice, my colleagues and I sit next to a girl at work who smells absolutely awful. Others have commented too, so it’s not just me who finds it unbearable.
Find out if she has a friend who could have a word with her. I’m sure any friend would rather speak to her than see her humiliated at her workplace. Dear Janice, I really like a guy at work, and I think he likes me too. We have had a few chats in the kitchen during our break, but he is really shy. My friends laughed when I told them that he still lives at home with his mum, and suggested I forget him and find someone who has his own place, own car and money to take me out.
Dear Kara, it amazes me the number of women who wouldn’t go near a guy because he lives with his parents, yet these same women would happily give the time of day to a guy who lives with his wife! I can put up with it most of the time, but she insults me in front of our children, and all I can do is move into another room whenever she arrives to avoid any conflict.programme on when she arrives, but all I get in return is abuse. Now my wife tells me that she has booked a two-week caravan holiday, and that her mother is coming too! What should I do? Eric.
