Ricky Lee Trader , 47, was arrested in Reno last week for the murder of 28-year-old Theresa Romano , whose body was found inside a home on Gold Street back in 2003. Investigators determined she died from sharp force trauma and her death was ruled a homicide.
"Ricky told her, 'She wouldn't shut up. She wouldn't shut up. I had to cut the b****,'" the report states. The report states that the investigation into Romano's murder continued, but they could not find any other evidence to identify Trader as a suspect. The case was reopened in 2021 and police took swabs from evidence for potential DNA and latent prints.
