Signing onto a movie as visually stimulating as Wicked means that you essentially have a built-in press tour wardrobe strategy. Method dressing was never simpler. So, it’s no surprise that Wicked’s marquee stars—Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande—have been trotting out respective green and pink looks for months as a nod to their characters, the green-skinned witch Elphaba and pink-loving witch Glinda.
A corseted bodice sunk into a swirl of foamy and iridescent fabric that was draped all over the skirt, a seeming nod to Glinda's iconic bubble dress. She finished off the look with a diamond necklace and white platform heels.As for Erivo, the Tony Award-winning actor made a statement in an artful Thom Browne ensemble. The one-of-a-kind look featured a sparkly bodycon dress with exaggerated hips and buttons fastened all the way down the center.
