This weekend will be pretty mild, but things will change as a cold front moves through Sunday, sending temperatures plunging below freezing.Timeline: The high temperature for Sunday is 62 degrees, but it will happen at about 7 o'clock in the morning.We have a chance of some quick showers and rumbles on Sunday and then the arctic air comes.Winds are expected to gust at 30 miles per hour on Sunday and temperatures will tumble.By midnight on Monday, we expect it to be below freezing.

We expect to stay cold and dry through Wednesday, with temperatures below freezing in the mornings and warming up above freezing after that.Thursday and Friday we could see some precipitation, meaning there's a shot at ice and snow.The NTTA has already begun brining the roads for potential winter weather. TxDOT also has plans for prepping roads for snow and ice.What We Don't Know: It is far from a sure thing that there will be any snow or ice in our area.
