Apple's MorningShow adds 2 to cast, confirms Steve Carell's return
Greta Lee and Ruairi O'Connor have joined the series, which is set to resume production on Oct. 19 after
as the coronavirus pandemic spread. Apple has also confirmed that Steve Carell, who initially signed a one-year deal with the show, will return as a series regular.will dive into the world of streaming media in its second season. Lee will play Stella Bak, the young, ambitious leader of an online media company that caters to millennial and Gen Z audiences.
The show's first season ended on a cliffhanger, with TV news anchors Alex Levy and Bradley Jackson laying bare the toxic culture of the fictional network that employs them, including disgraced anchor Mitch Kessler's sexual assault of a staffer. The season ended with the network cutting off the show's feed.
