The incident happened Wednesday morning at the Slatten Ranch Shopping Center.
Crime and Public Safety |The incident started around 8:50 a.m., when a car crash was reported near Lone Tree Way and Slatten Ranch Road, according to Antioch police Lt. John Fortner. A man was seen running from a black sedan into the Slatten Ranch Shopping Center.
The suspect drove away with the victim, a woman, still inside the SUV, but she managed to escape near the Walmart Supercenter on Lone Tree Way, according to Fortner.
