After morning lows in the 50s and 40s the afternoon will warm to the mid-70s with lots of sunshine.
Action News Jax Meteorologist Corey Simma says winds will turn to onshore - so the beaches will be a little cooler by this afternoon.
Wednesday brings our next cold front and threat for showers. We’ll be very warm ahead of the front, temperatures could be near the record of 84 degrees. The highest storm threat is north and west of Jacksonville into inland SE Georgia during the late morning and early afternoon. The line of showers will generally weaken as it moves southeast into NE Florida between 1 and 3 pm tomorrow. The bulk of the showers should be south of Jacksonville in time for the evening commute. However, there may be a few isolated showers passing through as the actual front moves over our area.We drop back to the mid to upper 60s for highs on Thursday with partly sunny and breezy conditions.
