Bed Bath & Beyond, a struggling home goods retailer, announced further closures of 87 stores nationwide as the company teeters on the brink of bankruptcy. In addition, the company will close five buybuy Baby stores and all locations of its beauty store brand, harmon.
The latest round of closures will impact 30 states, with Florida losing the most Bed Bath & Beyond stores with 11 closures, followed by California with 10. The harmon stores are primarily located in New York and New Jersey.
