ANAHEIM — It’s no secret that Taylor Ward has not looked like his usual self at the plate this season. Both Ward’s batting average and OPS are down from last year.
“I think I’m slowly finding my swing, my approach and just being on time,” Ward said. “Just keeping things simple, that’s the biggest thing for me.” Nevin said Ward was able to get live at-bats during the All-Star break to help get him back into rhythm.
