Unfortunately for the Cardinals, some of the same old pesky problems popped up once again, just like they always seem to do. Here’s a summary of the issues that never go away.

They haven’t been able to all season. But there was reason for hope on this afternoon. Arizona got a 21-yard scramble from Murray for 21 yards. He completed a 14-yard strike to tight end Zach Ertz. James Conner, back in the lineup after missing three games with sore ribs, had a 10-yard run.

Unfortunately for the Cardinals, some of the same old pesky problems popped up once again, just like they always seem to do. Here’s a summary of the issues that never go away:Starting right guard Will Hernandez suffered a chest injury in the first quarter and never returned. Instead of inserting a veteran presence such as Sean Harlow, however, the Cardinals went with rookie Lecitus Smith, who was listed as third down on the depth chart.

Even though the game was close, coach Kliff Kingsbury didn’t choose to run the ball enough. Through the first three quarters, Conner only had four carries for 19 yards. Eno Benjamin had three carries for seven yards. Rookie Keaontay Ingram ran only once for two yards.
