Hard work just doesn't pay like it used to
A poll by the Wall Street Journal that found Americans place less importance on patriotism, religion, and hard work than they once did set off Republican activists and politicians last week
podcast,"this poll found record pessimism that our children's generation can do better than our generation." Only 21% of Americans were confident their children's generation would have a better life, compared to 64% in 1998.
