By Phoenix Business Journal staffKurt Kroemer, who has served as CEO of The American Red Cross Arizona-New Mexico region since 2016, has announced his retirement.“It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to have had the privilege of working for the Red Cross and helping to fulfill our mission in Arizona and New Mexico,” Kroemer said in a statement.
“I’ve deployed to numerous disasters throughout the country and the small role I played responding to Hurricane Harvey and the mass casualty event in El Paso were two where I felt most proud of our organization.
