A woman in a stolen ambulance led law enforcement officers on a brief chase along U.S. 280 before she was stopped and taken into custody.
Deputies made contact with the ambulance at the Walgreens off Doug Baker Boulevard. A short pursuit ensued and ended at Cahaba Valley Road.This story will be updated if more information becomes available.
