Police in Crandall issued an AMBER Alert for a missing 12-year-old boy. He was found with his mother in good health, police say.
Over the weekend, Police issued an AMBER Alert for the boy who was last seen with his mother on Oct. 30 at The Shops at Park Lane in Dallas and police said they believe the child may be in grave or immediate danger.
The initial AMBER Alert by Crandall police said the 12-year-old boy was last seen in the 1800 block of Lolita Way in Heartland, which is an unincorporated community in Kaufman County about 25 miles from Dallas.NBC 5 reached out to Crandall police to ask why the AMBER Alert said said was last seen July 4.
Crandall police said it received a call from an AT&T employee on Oct. 30, advising the child's mother texted concerning messages regarding her mental health. When officers went to her home in Heartland, no one appeared to be home. Police said Kaufman County"pinged" her phone which showed to be in the area of Park Lane and North Central Expressway in Dallas.
Police said that on Nov. 2, the mother's 24-year-old daughter arrived at the Crandall Police Department to file a missing persons report on her mother and two siblings ages 19 and 12.Arlington polling location sprayed with graffiti, windows broken overnight; Open for Election Day The AMBER alert was activated for 39 counties, most in North Texas.
