“I feel we’re all underpaid,” he said. “I do this so I can feed my family, but we often have to juggle our bills to get by and fill our fridge. We’re working paycheck to paycheck.”Singh said the summer months are especially hard when temperatures in the Antelope Valley often top 100 degrees.
