'It will be all you can eat. We will have two menus. One will be more meat than the other one. You'll pick from it and we'll bring the meat out and you grill it on the table,' Nguyen said.
The menu hasn't been finalized, he said, but the meat will mostly be marinated in the Korean style. In addition, they plan to offer boba drinks.
The location lends itself to a good lunchtime crowd because of the abundance of companies, hotels, offices, retail stores and other businesses on the Southside. That's one of the factors that influenced Nguyen's decision to open there. Nguyen said Vagabond Korean Steakhouse will be among the first, if not the first, all-you-can-eat Korean barbecues in Jacksonville.
The decor and ambiance will be designed to make guests feel like they are dining in a traditional Korean palace.
