Benedict is a college graduate with a degree in Film and Screen Media and a future unemployed Letterboxd user. He got into movies through a childhood love of blockbusters and comic book movies, and grew an appreciation and interest in film generally that led to him studying it in college.
One could get dizzy trying to name every classic Alfred Hitchcock put out throughout his legendary career. Psycho, North by Northwest, Vertigo, Rear Window, and The Birds are just a few of the titles that come to mind. Some of his most iconic works saw the director collaborate with Hollywood legend Jimmy Stewart. Yet, oddly, one of Hitch’s most fondly remembered films, with Stewart in the leading role, is viewed as a failure by its director, and by many critics at the time.
