Alexis Bledel is stepping away from the hit Hulu series “The Handmaid’s Tale.”
“I am forever grateful to [showrunner] Bruce Miller for writing such truthful and resonant scenes for Emily, and to Hulu, MGM, the cast and crew for their support.”The Post reached out to Hulu and Bledel for further comment. In the series, women are considered to be far beneath men and are deprived of basic rights such as reading or using money.
