The Alabama Crimson Tide will face the Michigan Wolverines in the 2024 ReliaQuest Bowl on Tuesday, December 31 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.It was announced that the Tide will be taking the trip to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on New Year’s Eve for a rematch of last season’s Rose Bowl playoff semifinal matchup against the Michigan Wolverines .
The defending national champion Wolverines finished their first season under Sherrone Moore at 7th in the Big Ten, with their biggest positive mark of the season coming just two weeks ago in the regular season finale against rival Ohio State when they beat the Buckeyes 13-10 for their fourth straight victory in “The Game.”
Alabama will be looking to finish their first season under Kalen DeBoer on a positive note after a tumultuous regular season, which featured wins over SEC Champion Georgia and rival Auburn but also losses against Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Oklahoma, the latter two playing possibly the biggest factor in the Crimson Tide missing the playoffs for only the third time since its inception.
The Tide will also be looking to finish with 10+ wins for a 17th straight season.
