Alabama football landed an in-state offensive tackle in the class of 2025 on Saturday.
on Saturday, when Vigor offensive tackle Micah Debose committed to the Crimson Tide. DeBose had committed to Georgia in January of 2023 before decommiting in December.
The 247Sports composite ratings rank Debose as the No. 8 offensive tackle in the 2025 class, and the No. 89 player overall. He’s listed as the No. 8 player in the state of Alabama. “Flashes some jarring punch power and drive-blocking conviction that will finish targets to the ground,” 247Sports scouting analyst Gabe Brooks said in his. “Size and functional strength often overwhelm high school opponents. Hand placement is not a weakness, but hands can be stickier when engaged. Can improve overall body control, but displays encouraging kick-slide mobility. May ultimately fit the right tackle spot or a guard role, depending on athletic development and scheme.
