Whether or not he ever matures into an actual horse — Snell has completed seven innings just twice this year — five-plus stellar innings is often what you see from a starting pitcher in the postseason before bullpens take the baton. The White Sox managed just three hits total off Snell: A.J. Pollock’s second-inning leadoff double, Jose Abreu’s fourth-inning, infield single that Manny Machado nearly took away with a play in the hole and Andrus’ sixth-inning blast.
