The winner of the race for the 3rd Congressional District’s seat will be decided tonight as candidates Adam Frisch, a Democrat, and Jeff Hurd, a Republican, face off for the spot vacated by U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert., which provides nonpartisan analyses of electoral races, has ranked the race as one that leans Republican.
He ran on a platform focused on protecting the local water supply, helping families afford household necessities and addressing immigration issues, according toaround 41% of the vote. Former State Rep. Ron Hanks trailed at No. 2 with almost 29%, followed by former Colorado State Board of Education member
Hurd’s political agenda includes tackling immigration issues, expanding energy production and fighting for agriculture producers, according to his response to the candidate questionnaire.
