The 2024 NFL season feels like the last chance for New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones to prove he's the right man for the job.He didn't exactly get off to the best start.On Sunday, in the Giants' 28-6 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in New York, Jones completed just 22 of his 42 passes for 186 yards with zero touchdowns and two interceptions. He was sacked five times and had a quarterback rating of 44.3.
He missed two games early in the season with a neck injury, and then tore his ACL in Week 9, bringing an end to his 2023 campaign.Jones was able to get back in time for Week 1 of the 2024 season but didn't exactly quell any doubts about his play. However, head coach Brian Daboll was quick to name Jones the starting quarterback for Week 2.
