So, I got my real estate licence in 2017. In my first year, I sold [properties worth] just under $10 million and then, I had my son and my daughter. After that, I wanted to hang my licence at another brokerage and I was looking to be part of The Oppenheim Group. I knew Jason through my husband and I said to him, “What do I have to do?” You kind of see how it played out on screen. I wasn’t sure whether I was going to get in or not.
I love that we meet you in the show as a potential friend of Christine’s but then you quickly become the star. One great example is when you come into the office with that offer over the asking price. Heather says she’s not sure she can match it and you say, “You can’t.” The first time I ever heard anything about my accent was after the show came out [laughs]. I’ve been in Los Angeles for so many years now and I’ve never heard a whisper about it other than the fact that everybody thinks I sound British. Watching it back, I was like, “Oh, I get it. I sound British, I sound a little bit like I’m from the valley and I also sound nervous.” I’ve never been on screen before and I’m trying to be my natural self.
