Per the 8 a.m. Advisory, Beryl remains a CAT 1 Hurricane with northern movement at 12 mph and winds at 75 mph. Beryl made landfall near Matagorda, Texas as a CAT 1 Hurricane earlier this morning. It will continue to bring storm surges and heavy winds to the area along with intense rainfall.
