Edgar Wright has entertained millions of movie enthusiasts with his fabulous Three Flavors Cornetto trilogy, but as close to perfection as the existing installments may be, there are a number of other genres the filmmaker could have parodied and made the franchise even better.
6 A Cornetto Sports Movie Inspirational sports dramas like Rocky, Any Given Sunday, and Goal! are among cinema's most uplifting viewing experiences. Add a touch of comedy, and you've got entertainment overload. Edgar Wright thrives on pure entertainment, and a sports comedy would've made a terrific addition to his Cornetto franchise.
3 A Cornetto British Gangster Movie Britain and gangster movies go together like tea and crumpets. Some of the best British gangster movies of recent times include Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, Dead Man's Shoes, and The Gentlemen. Sadly, it's not a genre Edgar Wright dipped his toe in for his Cornetto trilogy, but he definitely should have, as it's a British cinematic staple.
