Charges are pending against a driver accused of causing a three-vehicle crash Sunday on Route 9 in Toms River that left six people injured, authorities said.
The man was driving south on Route 9 at about 7:40 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a northbound vehicle,. The impact forced the second vehicle off the road and into a driveway, where it hit a third vehicle, officials said. The six injured people were brought to three different hospitals following the 7:40 p.m. crash near the intersection of Hecht Drive, according to police.Toms River police couldn’t immediately be reached Tuesday morning for more information.
