The City of Dublin made the announcement Tuesday that a popular road in the city will force drivers to slow down.The City of Dublin estimated in their statement that over 30,000 vehicles use that road every single day.
Drivers along Riverside Drive will see speed-trailer signs that indicate an upcoming change in the speed limit. Dublin Police officers will work to proactively educate drivers about the new speed limit before enforcement begins Oct. 30. The city has reportedly taken this new initiative to slow down drivers for pedestrians, creating "safer, more comfortable streets."
