Ridley Scott confirmed that he is currently working on the Napoleon director's cut for his latest war drama starring Joaquin Phoenix.
following the film’s theatrical release on November 22. At the moment, the total running time for the director’s cut of the“I’m working on it. It was four 10 this morning,” Scott said. “And so what will happen is, we’ll screen first with Sony, and then it has its run, and then the perfect thing is that goes to streaming, and we have four hours 10 minutes.
Scott is directing from a screenplay written by David Scarpa. This marks Phoenix and Scott’s latest collaboration together after previously working together in the acclaimed 2000 epic drama Gladiator. Joining Phoenix are Vanessa Kirby, Tahar Rahim, Ben Miles, Ludivine Sagnier, Matthew Needham, Youssef Kerkour, Phil Cornwell, and more.
Napoleon is produced by Scott and Kevin Walsh for Scott Free.
