Law enforcement is steadily cracking down on students making callous threats against schools in Florida.

In Duval County, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said there have been 37 arrests of students between the ages of 10 and 17 years old since Aug. 1.“Do not under any circumstance, in any school charter school, online make a threat to shoot up our school. We’re not going to sit back and allow you to make that threat,” Waters said at a news conference in September.

JSO said four arrests were made over this past week. Of the 37, JSO made 23 arrests and the Duval County School Police Department arrested 15 students.
